This article provides instructions for updating user attendance statuses in the POS Curriculum roster. For example, if a user's attendance status was marked as unattended (e.g., "No Show" or "Cancelled") and you need to update it to an attended (e.g., "Registered" or "Attended"). Updates need to be made at both the Online Modules and ILT Class levels to ensure they roll up accurately to the Curriculum level.
Step 1: Remove incorrect status record from POS Online Modules
- Set the domain to Systemwide-CSU.
- Navigate to the roster for each of the POS Online Modules (e.g., CSU-SCORM-POS1 to CSU-SCORM-POS7).
- For each online module, locate users with an incorrect status (e.g., "No Show").
- Check the box next to the user’s name. Click Remove to delete the record with incorrect status.
- Repeat the above steps for each POS Online Module (1 through 7).
Step 2: Remove incorrect status record from POS ILT Classes
- Navigate to the roster for the POS curriculum.
- Within each ILT class, search for users marked with an incorrect status.
- Check the box next to the user’s name. Click Remove to delete the record with incorrect status.
- Repeat the above steps for each ILT class.
- If only the records with incorrect statuses need to be removed and do not require re-adding with an updated status, you can skip Step 3.
- To mark users as attended in the POS Curriculum, follow the steps in this article.
Step 3: Re-register Users in Online Modules and ILT Classes
- Navigate to the roster for POS curriculum.
- Click on the Add button. Select the required activities (e.g., ILT classes and online modules that were previously updated). Depending on the activities you removed the user from, you can make up to 14 selections, then click Continue.
- Under Available Users, click Add. Click Next and search for the employees by name or email ID. Check the box next to each user's name. Click OK to confirm selection.
- Use the right arrow to move users to the Registration section. Click Submit to save changes. The roster will refresh, displaying the updated registration status.
- Notifications: Registration confirmation emails for POS ILT classes should be deactivated to prevent user confusion.
- CEPIDs: Utilize employees' CEPIDs for faster searching and updating in the roster.
This concludes how to update POS curriculum roster.
