This article covers how to enable live translations in Google Chrome.
Need to Know
Systemwide training in CSU Learn is currently provided in English. At this time, we are not able to offer translated versions of training materials or support questions submitted in other languages.
As an alternative, Google offers a browser-based closed captioning feature that can display captions in multiple languages for supported content played in the browser. When enabled, this may help support language access needs for training delivered in the LMS. Please note that captions must be turned on in the main browser window, not the pop-up window where the training launches.
This feature is provided by Google, and translation accuracy may vary. We’re not able to support or validate translated captions. A short video explaining how to enable this feature is available as well as the steps below.
If you have questions about training requirements or next steps, contact your campus or the systemwide Risk Management team can help guide you.
