Browser Requirements

This article covers the recommended browsers to use when accessing training.

CSU Learn supports most modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari. However, we have found the best user experience has been in Chrome and Firefox due to their ability to launch HTML5 content. Please click the browser name below to validate you are on the latest version.

List of Browsers

Chrome

Step 1: On your computer, open Chrome.

Step 2: At the top right, click More.

Step 3: Click Help. About Google Chrome.  

Step 4: Click Update Google Chrome.  

If you cannot find this button, you are on the latest version.  

Step 5: Click Relaunch.

Firefox

Step 1: On your computer, open Firefox.

Step 2: Click the Menu button.

Step 3: At the right side of the Firefox toolbar, go to Help, and select About Firefox.

Step 4: Firefox will check for updates automatically. If an update is available, it will be downloaded.

Step 5: When the download is complete, click Restart to update Firefox.

Edge

Step 1: On your computer, open Edge.

Step 2: Go to Settings > More > Help and feedback > About Microsoft Edge

If the About page shows Microsoft Edge is up to date, you are on the latest version.

Step 3: If the About page shows An update is available, click on Download and install to proceed.

Safari

Step 1: Go to System Preferences and select Software Update.

Step 2: If there is an update available, click Upgrade Now.
